Abstract
One of the popular issues in today's religious discourse is an issue about interfaith. The fact that the community of believers cannot deny the other represents one of the effects of globalization. However, it can be said that not all believers have this kind of insight. Whit, this point of departure Farid Esack, emerge his concept of interfaith connected to his birth-land, South African. As one of the countries that the apartheid regime has oppressed. In this struggle, it must be mentioned that Muslims contribution was the minimum one. It is caused by many Muslims arguing that interfaith is prohibited. Those conditions pushed Farid Esack to evaluate and formulate the cooperation concept between Islam and the other.
