Abstract

Religion, even theoretically teach about harmony and peace, but in the reality, it also could emerge resistance, conflict, and indeed violence. Some reasons motivate the adherent of religions to do so, such as; truth claim, sacralization of religious thought, and spirit of the missionary (dakwah).
To solve the problem, we should change two aspects both theoretically and in practice. To change the theoretic aspect means to change the mode of thought or religious doctrines. It is involved; transforming the method of theological thought from Theo-centric to humanist-anthropocentric, changing the concept of missionary that is to invite become to give, and changing classical thought from exclusive to inclusive. The alteration in practice aspect means the importance of developing some codes or agreement arranging social relation among people believe, in order the life of people believe really can be intertwined well and harmony.
