Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of firm size and capital structure on firm value with profitability as an intervening variable in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this research are manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2020 period. The number of samples selected is 93 companies selected using the purposive sampling technique. The analysis technique used was descriptive statistics and inferential statistical analysis using SmartPls software with path analysis test. The results of this research indicate that firm size has a negative and significant effect on firm value, capital structure has a positive and significant effect on firm value, firm size has a negative and significant effect on firm value, capital structure has a positive and significant effect on firm value, and profitability cannot mediate. relationship between firm size and capital structure to firm value.
