Abstract
The distance learning policy, apart from leaving some obstacles for teachers, students, and parents, also leads to the humanistic deauthorization among teachers. Online learning has diminished their authority in this aspect. This paper aimed to map the activities that teachers could no longer apply during the online teaching. In addition, it also analyzed the causes of the humanistic deauthorization among them. It employed a qualitative descriptive method based on interviews and FGDs with several teachers. It denoted seven activities unable to afford by teachers during the online education system, some of which are proving feedback and one-on-one explanation for particular students. The communication between teachers and students is instrumented by technology bringing about the teachers’ less recognition to the students, or even they do not know the students’ character at all. It suggested that educators transform into more advanced education, which treats students as subjects.
