Abstract
In this study the authors analyzed the motivation that can increase interest in becoming an entrepreneur in Islamic banking study program students at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Measurement of motivation is divided into five variables, namely personal goals, risk tolerance, work freedom, readiness for instrumentation and need for achievement which affect students' interest in becoming entrepreneurs. The method in this research is a descriptive survey. The approach used is a quantitative approach. Indicators of interest in becoming an entrepreneur are measured using a Likert scale of 1-5. Then the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS22. The results of the study found that personal goals, risk tolerance, instrumentation readiness had a partial effect on students' interest in becoming entrepreneurs. While the variable of work freedom, the need for achievement has no effect on students' interest in becoming entrepreneurs.
