Abstract
This paper discusses the concept of knowledge and how it becomes "science" when systematically arranged, adequately reviewed, and critically controlled. Studying science aims to acquire knowledge that enables people to solve everyday problems. Scientific thinking is a tool for each branch of material knowledge. The meaning of research is to seek new knowledge systematically by emphasizing empirical data, and it can also be interpreted as a refinement or improvement of existing knowledge. Legal research is interpreted as a scientific activity based on specific methods, systematics, and thoughts to solve legal problems through analysis. The paper emphasizes the importance of understanding facts, legal issues, and relevant phenomena in legal research. The author further explains legal research methods in detail in the article "Law and Legal Research."
