Abstract

Everyone wants one, no one knows what it is, and no one knows how to get one (Altbach, 2004). World Class University is a university that:  produces well-qualified graduates who are in high demand on the labor market  conducts leading-edge research published in top scientific journals  and in the case of science-and-technology–oriented institutions, the university contributes to technical innovations through patents and licenses.
