Abstract
This study aims to explain the technicalities of learning Arabic mufrodat at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamic Boarding School Sabilil Muttaqien Banaran Magetan Regency or commonly referred to as MI PSM Banaran, as well as explaining the factors of students' difficulties in understanding the meaning of mufrodat Arabic which includes internal and external factors. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The research subjects were several students for the 2021/2022 academic year and teachers of the Islamic Elementary School of Sabilil Muttaqien Banaran Magetan Regency. The result of this study is that learning Arabic mufrodat using the Teacher Centered method at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sabilil Muttaqien Islamic Boarding School (MI PSM) Banaran, Magetan Regency is deemed ineffective. Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sabilil Muttaqien Islamic Boarding School (MI PSM) Banaran, Magetan Regency have difficulty understanding the meaning of mufrodat caused by low intelligence, talent, interest, and willingness and the learning methods and media used feel monotonous and boring in learning mufrodat language Arabic, so the teacher tries to create easy and fun learning to help students memorize and understand the meaning of mufrodat Arabic by using picture media, chain guessing and singing methods.
