Abstract

Student Work Lecture (KKM) is an effort to increase students' ability and sensitivity in understanding social problems. The COVID-19 pandemic has a destructive impact on all society levels, so prompt and precise solution actions are needed. The solution to these problems requires cooperation from all nation elements, including higher education academicians, namely students and lecturers. In the limitation of the pandemic situation, students and lecturers of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang carry out KKM-DR (from home) activities in 2021 by implementing health protocols. KKM-DR activities do spread over several areas according to the domicile of KKM-DR participating students, among others; Tangerang district, several villages in Malang district, Pasuruan district, Probolinggo district, Sidoarjo district, Riau islands, Central Lombok district, Kediri district, and Batu city. Generally, some of these areas lack understanding of the dangers of the COVID-19 pandemic and guidelines for health protocols in the new-normal era.
Meanwhile, challenging economic conditions can trigger sensitivity between groups or groups, so awareness of tolerance is also a significant concern. The KKM-DR work program is designed based on these problems' phenomenon with the main focus of "Religious Moderation Education" and "Prevention and Overcoming of the COVID-19 Pandemic". The people's creative economy's movement is one of the best ways to overcome the economic recession due to the lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic and is expected to increase Indonesia's social resilience.
