Abstract

There is a lot of demotivation in learning Arabic, but not many people realize it. This is caused by the ignorance of the perpetrators of learning about the factors that influence the occurrence of demotivation. This paper aims to 1) describe the forms of demotivation in learning Arabic at the mabna Arrozy Ma'had student of Sunan Ampel Al-Aly, 2) find out the factors that influence the occurrence demotivation in learning Arabic at once, and 3) describe the impact of demotivation. Learn Arabic from the students in it. The descriptive qualitative research method was used with a case study design. The results showed that 1) The form of demotivation in learning Arabic that occurred in students was the fear of making mistakes and lack of self-confidence, boredom, inaccurate goals and inaccuracies to what they wanted, and the existence of an impartial priority scale in Arabic. 2) This is influenced by two factors, namely internal factors in the form of abilities and minimal background knowledge of Arabic as well as external factors, namely the language environment that is less supportive due to the lack of consistency from various parties. 3) This demotivation resulted in the absence of a complete language environment in Mabna Arrozy at Ma'had Sunan Ampel Al-Aly.
