Abstract
The phenomenon of 21st century educational output is in two speculative positions; between profitable or otherwise detrimental. For those who benefited technologically, he called it the century of brilliance. But for observers of the value of education, the 21st century does not only mean a challenge, it even becomes an emergency threat to the process of developing morals. The 21st century and the changing times that accompany it cannot be simply avoided. Academics are still trying to find solutions on how to anticipate, so that akhlakul karimah is consistent as the main goal of Islamic education, not affected by the changing times. This study aims to analyze the importance of Islamic Religious Education as a basis for the strength of 21st century morals, as well as efforts to improve 21st century moral education in the context of learning towards students who are strong and have noble character (akhlak al-karimah). This research was carried out using a qualitative library research approach, where the data sources were obtained from articles, news, and journals, using documentary techniques. Analyzed by content analysis model. The results of this study provide an offer to repurify moral education by reinforcing the pattern of education with a harmonious style of teacher and student, moral education with advice, reorientation of goals and learning intentions instilled in students, learning in a waro' way (almost extinct in the educational process), learn istifadah, and learn by remaining humble, so that the soul of the learner remains resilient in any situation.
