Abstract
In an ideal life, students hope to have good physical and psychological health to carry out their roles and obligations smoothly and successfully and be productive and useful. However, sometimes, the reality is that many things hinder these expectations. Several factors can overcome the obstacles experienced, including self-compassion, a support system, and flourishing. This study aimed to determine the effect of self-compassion and support systems on flourishing in students by using relevant literature studies (library research). As a result, there is an influence of self-compassion and social support on students’ self-flourishing; the higher the student’s social support, the higher the self-compassion and the effect on student flourishing so that they have much happiness and life satisfaction, low negative influence and experience fewer symptoms of psychological distress.
