Abstract

This study intends to evaluate and examine the impact of financial literacy on the performance of MSMEs with financial technology as a mediating variable. This research is a quantitative study, the MSME population in Gianyar Regency is the main subject involving 83 samples collected using the slovin formula and purposive sampling. With the help of the Smart PLS program, data is processed using the Partial Least Square approach (PLS) Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This research was carried out because there were deviations from previous studies, besides that MSMEs are now trapped in the small business zone, making it difficult for them to develop into large companies. This is due to the poor performance of UKM. According to study findings, financial literacy has a significant and beneficial impact on MSME performance. MSME performance is positively and significantly influenced by financial technology. MSME performance is positively and significantly influenced by financial literacy. And financial technology is not able to mediate the impact of financial iteration on MSME performance. SMEs must innovate more to raise its performance level. One of them relates to technological advances in the world, digital must be used as effectively as possible. Novelty in this study uses financial technology as a mediating variable
