Abstract

The most important means for achieving the goal in teaching Arabic is that teachers use the electronic lexicon. This research aims to know the percentage of female teachers of the Department of Language Preparation at Ar-Raayah University who use Al-Ma’ani lexicon in teaching Arabic, knowing the reasons for choosing Al-Ma’ani lexicon over other dictionaries, and knowing the role of Al-Ma’ani lexicon in analyzing linguistic errors for the writing of the students of the Language Preparation Department at ArRaayah University. This research is a quantitative and qualitative field research using a descriptive approach based on observation and questionnaire. The results revealed that the percentage of female teachers who use the meanings lexicon in education is 100%. The conclusion of the research is that the dictionary of meanings helps female teachers to analyze written errors and also helps them to achieve the goal in education.
