Abstract

Mental health due to environmental stress, loss of loved ones, lifestyle changes, psychological distress, anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorders, suicide and suicidal behavior, unemployment, insecure work situations, lower socioeconomic status, and other psychiatric problems that determine mental health problems after economic recession are common among humans because of their lack of resilience. This study aims to examine the concept of self-resilience construction of the Prophets ul-ul-azmi in the Qur'an through a review of tafsir. The focus of this study is to analyze the Qur'anic verses that discuss the concept of resilience carried out by the Prophets ulul azmi to find out how the meaning of the verses related to resilience in the Qur'an through the point of view of Ibn Kathir's tafsir, especially in suras or verses that contain the story of 'uulul 'azmi? The research method involves the analysis of Qur'anic texts and tafsir, with an emphasis on the interpretation of verses related to resilience. This type of research is qualitative library research on interpretation and psychology through discussions with exegetes, tracing verses related to the resilience of the prophets ulul azmi and analyzing them. The result of this study is that the meaning of resilience in the Qur'an about the Prophet ulul azmi includes patience, optimism and hope, tawakkal and confidence in Allah's help, prayer and worship, Clausal analysis, emotional regulation, self-efficacy and reaching out factors including protection and risk factors.
