Abstract

The library is a collection of library materials, both printed and other records, in a certain place that has been arranged in such a way in order to facilitate users which aims to meet the needs of its users in the purposes of education, research and preservation. The Sumberpasir Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Library (MINU) still uses the manual method. This method makes it difficult for librarians to process data such as borrowing books and returning books. The purpose of this research is to design a web-based library information system to help librarians solve problems in the MINU Sumberpasir library. The method used is the system development life cycle or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The results of this study has indicated that this research produces a product in the form of a Web-based Library Information System that can help librarians at MINU Sumberpasir process data on borrowing and returning books.
