Abstract

The micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector plays an important role in driving Indonesia's economic growth. In the business world requires a company profitability report. But in reality, business owners only focus on sales and company sustainability. Therefore, to solve the problem, community development must be carried out through social assistance methods. Community development includes efforts to increase participation and a sense of ownership of the programs implemented. Empowerment refers to the ability of individuals, especially vulnerable groups, to access productive resources that enable higher incomes and participation in development and decision-making processes. The results of this study indicate that the economic potential of Dusun Gagak Asinan lies in the UMKM sector. Factors that support the economic development of society are abundant natural resources and human resources. However, the inhibiting factors include limited capital, facilities and infrastructure, and low community participation.
