This game also provides an access to students’ movement ability including motor skill, such as locomotor and manipulative movement skills. This study proves how students’ cognitive development is developed through the ball-catching game. This game contains groups’ cooperation elements in resolving a problem while completing a challenge. Based on the study involving the fourth graders of Elementary School, it is proven that students’ cognitive skills have been refined through the ball-catching game. The enhancement of students’ cognitive development is obtained from the teachers’ observation and interview results in form of instruments filled out by the students. The students’ cognitive skills enhancement is formed by the thinking pattern in group works and thinking process in completing the game, which is shown in playing strategy and cooperation within team. This study can involve the third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade students of Elementary School since this game requires the skills to throw and catch the ball along with the running movement and moving patterns.
