Abstract

Students are required to master good English skills, one of which is listening skills in the digital age with massive technology. The Discord application has become one of the mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) based learning media that can enhance listening skills effectively. The study aims to test the effectiveness of the Discord application in the listening-learning process. The researchers used quasi-experimental quantitative methods with English Education students as the subject of their research. The research instruments were pre-test and post-test performed in control and experimental classes treated with Discord applications. The results showed a significant increase in values in the experimental class. This research proves that the Discord application effectively improves Tadris English students' listening ability.
