Abstract
This study aims to examine the impact of capital structure, dividend policy, bank value, and bank size on the profitability of Islamic banks globally. Using aquantitative approach with explanatory research, data were collected from 20 Islamic banks across 11 countries that are members of the Islamic Financial Services Board(IFSB). The analysis employed panel data regression, utilizing the fixed effect model(FEM) based on the Chow and Hausman test results. The findings reveal that capital structure, bank value, and bank size significantly influence profitability, while dividend policy has an insignificant effect. Specifically, an optimal capital structure and largerbank size contribute positively to p rofitability, whereas higher bank value negatively impacts profitability. These results highlight the importance of prudent capital management, strategic growth, and managing market expectations for Islamic banks to enhance their financial performance and competitiveness in the global banking industry while adhering to Shariah principles.
