Abstract

In the current digital era, technology can be utilized as an innovative, creative, effective, and efficient learning medium. YouTube is one of the mass media that can be utilized as a language learning medium. This research aims to analyze learning media using the YouTube Arab Podcasts in Arabic language learning, which consists of discussions using the book "Takalam al-Arabiyyah" volumes 1 and 2 on everyday life topics for beginners, Arabic conversations, and the "Alfiyah Ibn Malik" poem. This research method utilizes a descriptive quantitative research approach. This study attempts to describe phenomena by involving various existing methods. The data sources for this research are students of MTs Negeri 3 Malang totaling 32 students and the content of the YouTube channel Arab Podcasts. The results of this research show that YouTube Arabic Podcasts has an effect on improving the speaking skills (maharah kalam) of students at MTs Negeri 3 Malang. This is proven by significant changes in pre-test and post-test scores. So that YouTube Arabic Podcasts becomes one of the Arabic language learning media that is easy for students to understand.
