Abstract
The hypnoteaching method used by the education system plays an important role in its success. This research was motivated by the use of hypnoteaching methods in teaching science and social studies (IPAS), especially plant topics, by class IV teachers. The aim is to convey plant science material effectively in class IV, thereby enabling students to achieve the desired learning objectives. This research has two main objectives: first, to describe the practical application of hypnoteaching for science learning, with special emphasis related to plants at MI Walisongo Salakbrojo. Second, to identify and analyze the factors inhibiting the hypnoteaching method for learning science and science on plant material at MI Walisongo Salakbrojo. Qualitative research with field research, data techniques: observation, field data collection, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing comprehensive conclusions. This research contributes to the ongoing discourse on innovative pedagogical approaches in the context of science education at MI and seeks to identify potential challenges and solutions to implementing hypnoteaching as an alternative teaching method.
