Abstract
The advancement of virtual reality (VR) innovation has been a major center in medical simulation,
particularly in wound care preparing . This article outlines the latest advances in the use of VR to simulate
wound wrapping steps, with the aim of improving the clinical skills and quality of life of patients. VR offers
benefits such as deeper learning experiences, better accessibility, self-training with simulator guidance, and
performance evaluation capabilities. The research also highlights the potential of VR to enhance theoretical
knowledge in nursing education. It is anticipated using this VR application, training participants would be
able to advance their knowledge and secure setting. The training participants appreciated their VR
experience, according to the results, and they were willing to suggest that their colleagues utilize this VR
application. Twenty-five participants had a SUS score of 72.8, or a grade C. According to demographic data,
male participants only scored a C with a rating of 71,2 while female participants received a C with a score
of 72,8. However, the study has limitations, such as small sample size and limited training scenarios. As a
result, the study suggests further research in the long term to generalize findings about the impact of VR use
in wound care training.
