Abstract

This article discusses the epistemology of bayani about childfree in Indonesia, bayani epistemology is a typical thought of Arabs who emphasize the text (nash) directly or indirectly. The purpose of this article is to provide an understanding of the concept of childfree in Indonesia from the epistemology of bayani. The object of this research is the epistemology of bayani about childfree in Indonesia, which specifically examines childfree in Indonesia. This research is included in the category of library research, because the source of the data is only based on written materials published in the form of books, magazines, journals and other sources deemed representative and relevant. The results of this study provide views including: (1) Epistemology bayani is a thought that emphasizes text, bayani sources are the Qur’an and hadith.. (2) The phenomenon of childfree in Indonesia is caused by several factors, environmental, philosophical, personal, economic, medical factors. (3) In al-Qur’an, Hadist or UU in Indonesia it is not explained the law of childfree, nor is it explained in any verse of the Qur'an, only explaining the advice to have children For someone who is married, because it is human nature.
