Abstract
A person's character can change according to their desires. This is different from the individual characters that exist in the style of literary works. Changes in individual characters in literary works depend on the author of the scholarly work. This paper aims to describe the introversion or unconscious individual character of the main character named “Latifah” in the novel Ahzanu Latifah by Kamil Kaelany. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, using Carl Gustav Jung's Literary Psychology approach model. The primary data sources of this research are excerpts from the novel that are relevant to the theory used. While the secondary data sources are articles, books and research related to this study. Data collection techniques use reading and note-taking techniques. The analysis technique used is the Miles and Hubermann model for qualitative research. The researchers found that the main character 'Latifa' is a 'self-aware' character. This can be seen from the results of the data presented above. The self-conscious personality of the main character in this novel is characterized by prolonged trauma, excessive shyness, and selfishness without caring about the feelings of others.
