Abstract
This research report explores the experiences of alumni from the MORA Overseas Student Mobility Awards (MOSMA), a program designed to allow students from Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia to study abroad. Through this program, students are expected to enhance their academic and language skills, broaden their cultural perspectives, and strengthen their identities within diverse global contexts. However, studying abroad brings cultural, linguistic, and social adaptation challenges that often lead participants to undergo complex processes of identity negotiation.
