Abstract

Green Financing is defined as a funding activity from the surplus side to the deficit side to fund activities/projects that care about the environment and/or are oriented towards sustainable development. Banks that can manage their finances well, utilize green funding, and respond appropriately to macroeconomic conditions will tend to have better performance overall. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 14 banks. Research data in the form of financial statements and sustainability reports was obtained from each official banking website. Data analysis uses panel data regression equations assisted by Eviews software 12. The results of the t-test study show that Green Financing, SIZE, FDR/LDR, GDP, Inflation, and Interest Rates have no effect on bank performance as proxied by ROA in Banking in Indonesia in 2015-2023. CAR has a significant positive effect on bank performance as proxied by ROA in Banking in Indonesia in 2015-2023. BOPO and NPF/NPL have a significant negative effect on bank performance as proxied by ROA in Banking in Indonesia in 2015-2023. Based on the results of the F test, all independent variables have an effect on bank performance as proxied by ROA in Conventional and Sharia Banking in Indonesia in 2015-2023
