Abstract

This research aims to analyze the perspectives of class XI students at MA Al-Irtiqo' Malang regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the subject History of Islamic Culture. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with case studies. Data was obtained through interviews and observations with informants consisting of 1 teacher and 5 students. The research results show that the use of AI in SKI learning has increased interactivity and learning efficiency. Students can more easily understand historical material by using AI-based learning media such as Lumen5's collaboration with Edpuzzle. However, some students also expressed concerns about losing creativity and analytical skills in understanding historical interpretations. This research provides an overview of how students accept technology in learning and provides valuable input for the development of more adaptive and innovative learning media in the future.
