Abstract
One of the key aspects in achieving the Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) program in higher education is the establishment of strong partnerships between universities and other institutions, whether directly or indirectly related. These partnerships are assumed to have a significant impact on the organizational performance of universities in implementing the Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. This study aims to measure the factors influencing partnership and organizational performance of universities in realizing the Merdeka Belajar program. The factors examined are dependence, commitment, and trust between universities and their partners. The research will employ a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data will be collected through a survey conducted at three Islamic Higher Education Institutions in East Java. The data will be analyzed using SmartPLS 4 software. The results of this study are expected to reveal the extent to which these factors influence partnerships and the organizational performance of universities in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar program in Indonesia.
