Abstract

The attachment between adolescents and their parents is an important factor in shaping adolescent behavior, including parental involvement in parenting. Father's involvement in parenting can have a positive impact on adolescent development and well-being. Father's involvement in parenting is very important. To determine the effect of father's involvement in parenting on the attachment of study adolescents to university students. This research is quantitative correlational research. The subjects of this research were UIN Malang students. The location of the research will be at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This research instrument will use the Adolescent Attachment Scale and Father's Involvement in Parenting. The data analysis technique will be carried out using a simple regression test. The results of this study reveal a significant positive relationship between father involvement in parenting and adolescent attachment. The results of this research provide important insights for the formation of policies and intervention programs that encourage fathers' active involvement in parenting. This has the potential to help strengthen the emotional bond between fathers and adolescents, while forming the basis for healthy psychosocial development.
