Abstract
Many public madrasahs in Malang have experienced institutional change and innovation, including the establishment of Islamic boarding schools within the madrasah and the implementation of an integrative curriculum to fulfill their educational vision and mission. This study proposes to elucidate the administration of the integrated curriculum at state madrasahs in Malang and assess its effects on students. The type of research method is qualitative, utilizing a case study approach through interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The study's findings indicate that the implementation of an integrative curriculum, consistent with the vision, mission, and internal strengths through a collaborative process, positively impacts students' academic performance, improves religious attitudes and character, improves social skills, and protects madrasah institutions. These findings can be implemented in state madrasahs in other cities and become best practices for Islamic educational institutions in carrying out institutional transformation.
