Abstract

!is study aims to examine the comparative integration of digital and conventional media
in organizing archive exhibitions in library spaces, as well as their role in expanding the
library’s function as a center for education and cultural preservation. !e background of
this study is based on the transformation of libraries from traditional reading rooms to
creative spaces (makerspaces) that encourage community interaction and participation.
!e research was conducted qualitatively using observation and interviews with librarians
at the Tangerang City Library (Windu Karya), as well as through browsing the Presidential
Archives Exhibition digital website ( https://pameran-arsip-kepresidenan.hktekno.com/
). !e results show that the Tangerang City Library adopted a conventional approach
through physical archive exhibitions that present the richness of regional culture to visitors
directly. Meanwhile, digital exhibitions through the website provide broader and more
flexible access to presidential archives interactively. !e integration of these two approaches
not only strengthens the documentation and education functions but also expands the
reach of library services. In conclusion, the collaboration between physical and digital
archive exhibitions can enrich the user experience and become a model for developing a
modern library that is inclusive and adaptive to technological developments.
