Abstract

This community assistance program for establishing a production cooperative in the KHAS Market Zone, Batu City, aims to strengthen local economic independence through a participatory approach. The program engaged members of the Sae Raos Santoso community in cooperative literacy training. The implementation method applied the Participatory Action Learning model, emphasizing active involvement from the identification, training, to the evaluation stages. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of cooperative concepts, and institutional readiness. The establishment of this community production cooperative represents a strategic step to build an independent and sustainable local business network. This activity contributes to strengthening local value-based economies and serves as a model for community cooperative development
