Abstract

This book contains mathematical concepts and materials that are linked to their applications in the field of economics. Broadly speaking, the structure of the book consists of three main parts: learning objectives, subject matter, and exercises. The section on learning objectives serves as both a direction and guideline so that students understand the competencies to be achieved. The subject matter is presented as a source of information and knowledge, while the exercises are provided to measure the extent of students’ understanding of the material studied.
