Abstract

Speaking for Formal Interactions provides practical guidance and strategies for effective communication in formal settings. The book serves as material resources to improve your English-speaking skills to the Intermediate levels or B levels of Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). In this level, you are expected to be able to communicate fluently in any situations. The formal context is one of the situations that we often have in speaking and be part of the context you need to be familiar with. This book equips readers with essential skills in structuring speeches, delivering confident presentations, and mastering etiquette in professional environments. With insights on verbal and non-verbal communication, the book aims to empower individuals to articulate ideas persuasively and navigate formal interactions with proficiency and poise. Ideal for professionals, students, and anyone seeking to enhance their communication prowess in formal contexts. The book also contains Islamic value. We present this part and intersect with the other aspects of English language learning in this book to prove that the combination of the two do not reduce the quality of your learning but enhance the results, instead. We also present cross-cultural understanding section as we believe that learning a language also means learning its culture. Due to these reasons, this book comes to exist.
