Abstract

Abstrak Indonesia:
Latar Belakang: Cerpen Ḥabbat al-Tūt karya Kamil Kailani mengisahkan pengorbanan seorang ibu untuk menyelamatkan anaknya tanpa mengharapkan imbalan apa pun. Tema cerpen ini tetap sangat relevan bagi masyarakat kontemporer, di mana hubungan sosial sering kali dipengaruhi oleh kepentingan daripada ketulusan.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana unsur-unsur naratif berkontribusi pada konstruksi alur cerita, pengembangan karakter, dan penyampaian pesan mendasar yang dimaksudkan oleh penulis.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif deskriptif. Data primer terdiri dari cerita pendek berbahasa Arab karya Kamil Kailani berjudul Ḥabbat al-Tūt, sedangkan sumber sekunder mencakup buku-buku ilmiah, artikel jurnal, prosiding, dan referensi berbasis web yang berkaitan dengan kerangka strukturalis Vladimir Propp dan analisis cerita pendek. Data dianalisis melalui pendekatan struktural naratif, yang melibatkan prosedur sistematis berupa pembacaan mendalam, klasifikasi fungsi naratif, rekonstruksi struktur cerita, serta interpretasi dimensi tematik dan moralnya.
Hasil: Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi 19 fungsi naratif yang relevan dalam cerita Ḥabbat al-Tūt, yang masing-masing menampilkan variasi dalam cara tokoh utama secara bertahap mengatasi berbagai tantangan. Salah satu fungsi tersebut adalah larangan, yang mencerminkan aturan atau batasan yang harus dipatuhi oleh para tokoh. Dalam cerita tersebut, misalnya, Kuku diperintahkan untuk hanya memakan biji-biji kecil, karena tubuhnya belum cukup kuat.
Implikasi: Cerita pendek ini menyoroti ketulusan cinta seorang ibu, menawarkan nilai-nilai cinta, tanggung jawab, dan pengorbanan yang tetap bermakna bagi pembaca. Dengan menerapkan 19 fungsi naratif Propp, penelitian ini menunjukkan relevansi analisis strukturalis terhadap sastra Arab modern. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bagaimana bentuk naratif menyampaikan makna emosional dan moral dalam konteks budaya Timur Tengah.

Background: The short story Ḥabbat al-Tūt by Kamil Kailani narrates a mother’s sacrifice to save her child without expecting anything in return. Its theme remains highly relevant to contemporary society, where social relationships are often shaped by interests rather than sincerity.
Aims: The present study seeks to examine how narrative elements contribute to the construction of the plot, the development of characters, and the articulation of the underlying message intended by the author.
Methods: This study employed a descriptive qualitative design. The primary data consisted of Kamil Kailani's Arabic short story Ḥabbat al-Tūt, while the secondary sources comprised scholarly books, journal articles, proceedings, and web-based references related to Vladimir Propp's structuralist framework and short story analysis. Data were analysed through a narrative structural approach, which involved systematic procedures of close reading, classification of narrative functions, reconstruction of the story's structure, and interpretation of its thematic and moral dimensions.
Results: The study identified 19 relevant functions within the narrative of Ḥabbat al-Tūt, each presenting variations in the way the main character gradually overcomes challenges. One such function is interdiction, which reflects the rules or restrictions that characters are required to follow. In the story, for instance, Kuku is instructed to eat only small seeds, as his body is not yet strong enough.
Implications: The short story highlights the sincerity of a mother's love, offering values of love, responsibility, and sacrifice that remain meaningful for readers. By applying Propp's 19 narrative functions, this study demonstrates the relevance of structuralist analysis to modern Arabic literature. It shows how narrative form conveys emotional and moral significance within the Middle Eastern cultural context.

الخلفية: تروي القصة القصيرة «حبة التوت» للكاتب كامل كيلاني قصة تضحية أم من أجل إنقاذ طفلها دون أن تتوقع أي مقابل. ولا يزال موضوعها وثيق الصلة بالمجتمع المعاصر، حيث غالبًا ما تتشكل العلاقات الاجتماعية على أساس المصالح بدلاً من الصدق.
الأهداف: تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى فحص كيفية مساهمة العناصر السردية في بناء الحبكة، وتطور الشخصيات، وتوضيح الرسالة الكامنة التي يقصدها المؤلف.
المنهجية: استخدمت هذه الدراسة تصميمًا نوعيًا وصفيًا. تألفت البيانات الأولية من القصة القصيرة العربية ”حبة التوت“ للكاتب كامل كيلاني، بينما شملت المصادر الثانوية الكتب الأكاديمية والمقالات المنشورة في المجلات ووقائع المؤتمرات والمراجع على شبكة الإنترنت المتعلقة بالإطار البنيوي لفلاديمير بروب وتحليل القصة القصيرة. تم تحليل البيانات من خلال نهج بنيوي سردي، تضمن إجراءات منهجية للقراءة المتأنية، وتصنيف الوظائف السردية، وإعادة بناء بنية القصة، وتفسير أبعادها الموضوعية والأخلاقية.
النتائج: حددت الدراسة 19 وظيفة ذات صلة ضمن سرد قصة «حبة التوت»، تختلف كل منها في الطريقة التي يتغلب بها البطل تدريجيًا على التحديات. ومن بين هذه الوظائف «المنع»، الذي يعكس القواعد أو القيود التي يتعين على الشخصيات الالتزام بها. ففي القصة، على سبيل المثال، يُطلب من «كوكو» ألا يأكل سوى البذور الصغيرة، لأن جسده لم يبلغ بعد القوة الكافية.
الآثار: تسلط القصة القصيرة الضوء على صدق حب الأم، وتقدم قيم الحب والمسؤولية والتضحية التي تظل ذات مغزى بالنسبة للقراء. من خلال تطبيق وظائف بروب السردية التسع عشرة، توضح هذه الدراسة أهمية التحليل البنيوي في الأدب العربي المعاصر. كما توضح كيف ينقل الشكل السردي المغزى العاطفي والأخلاقي في السياق الثقافي للشرق الأوسط.
