Abstract

This study aims to develop the “Takallam” learning media using the TPACK approach to enhance speaking skills among students at MAN 2 Banjarnegara. The research employs Research and Development (R&D) method and using ADDIE development model, encompassing analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The "Takallam" media is a website-based learning tool built on the Google Sites platform. The results of the study indicate several findings: First, the development process adhered to the five stages of ADDIE. In the analysis stage, an innovative media was deemed necessary due to students' difficulty in understanding Arabic material, and existing media were considered irrelevant. The design stage involved creating the Content Outline (GBK), flowchart, and storyboard. The development stage produced a functional prototype. Implementation involved product testing with a pre-test and post-test on 32 students in class XI-16. Finally, the evaluation stage incorporated feedback and revision suggestions from expert validators. Second, the validity test results confirmed the product's suitability for implementation, with expert material validator scoring 87%, expert media validator scoring 97%, and the Arabic teacher scoring 95% its mean this learning media is very feasible to using. Third, the product's effectiveness was tested, showing a significant increase in the average score from the pre-test (57.8125) to the post-test (85.4688). The Wilcoxon test yielded an Asymp. Sign. (2-Tailed) value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, leading to the acceptance of Ha (indicating a significant difference). The N-Gain score was 65.1835, categorized as "sufficiently effective". This suggests that the use of "Takallam" media significantly influences the improvement of students' Arabic speaking skills. Fourth, students' responses were positive, viewing the media as practical and effective in enhancing understanding, largely due to its interactive multimedia elements (images, audio, video) and the inclusion of learning games. However, noted drawbacks include accessibility issues requiring an internet connection (loading errors) and incompatibility with IoS/Apple devices.
