Abstract
INDONESIA
Penelitian ini secara sistematis menganalisis tren dan perkembangan riset mengenai crash box dengan pendekatan bibliometrik. Melalui identifikasi pola publikasi, frekuensi topik, dan keterkaitan antar-topik dari 109 artikel ilmiah yang disaring dari basis data Google Scholar, studi ini memberikan gambaran komprehensif. Analisis menggunakan VOSviewer mengelompokkan riset crash box ke dalam fokus utama seperti crashworthiness, material dan struktur, optimasi desain, serta inovasi geometri. Tren menunjukkan pergeseran fokus dari pola deformasi dan penyerapan energi (2018–2020) menuju optimasi desain berbasis simulasi, struktur lattice, dan peningkatan crashworthiness (2021–2024). Selanjutnya, dilakukan kajian terhadap beberapa artikel yang memiliki nilai sitasi paling tinggi (besar sitasi lebih dari 100 kali). Hasil kajian terhadap artikel-artikel tersebut menunjukkan inovasi desain biomimetik (struktur tibia), struktur Negative Poisson’s Ratio (NPR), dan desain origami (pola diamond dan trapezoid) pada crash box. Penggunaan material Aluminium/CFRP juga terbukti meningkatkan performa penyerapan energi. Hasil ini memetakan perkembangan crash box dan mengidentifikasi peluang riset untuk desain serta material yang lebih optimal.

This research analyze trend and development of research on crash box by using bibliometric. By identify publication pattern, topic frequency and the topic relationship between 109 article from Google scholar, this research showed a comprehensive review. VOSviewer was used to analyze this research, by classifying crash box research topic to several main focuses, such as crasworthiness, material and structure, design optimization, and geometric inovation. The trend showed the shift of research focus, from deformation pattern and energy absorption (2018-2020), to design optimization using simulation, lattice structure, and crasworthiness enhancement (2021-2024). Furthermore, a review of several articles that have the highest citation value (more than 100 citations) was conducted. The results showed biomimetic design (tibia structure) inovation, Negative Poisson’s Ratio (NPR) structure and origami design (diamond and trapezoid pattern) on crash box. Using Aluminium/CFRP has demonstrated an improvement in energy absorption capabilities. The findings of this research illustrate the advancements made in crash box performance and identify potential research avenues for further optimization of design and material selection.
