Abstract

This module discusses the development of edu-farming, an approach that integrates agriculture, learning, hands-on experience, and tourism activities within a tourism village. Through this concept, daily farming activities that were initially seen only as production work are transformed into an engaging series of educational experiences for tourists, especially those from urban areas. Developing edu-farming is highly strategic as it utilizes local resources without requiring expensive attraction costs, while creating a new economic value chain that involves various community elements, such as farmers, local women's groups (PKK), and the youth. In its application, the module emphasizes designing tour packages based on the experience flow of See, Learn, Do, Create, and Share while prioritizing principles that are educational, participatory, safe, and sustainable. As a practical guide for managers, it also features a worksheet canvas, simulation methods, product trials, and evaluation steps to ensure the quality of the created tourism experience.
