These activities have a relationship with the motivation of values and traditions to maintain the consistency development of lecturers. This research is a field research using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. This study found that; first, the spirituality of lecturers is articulated as a spirit and motivation of the development of “tri dharma” of higher education. This is demonstrated by the intensity and consistency of the lecturers in performing academic duties in line with the motivation in carrying out religious activities, namely social charity and devote themselves to the development of religious rituals and high academic culture. Secondly, religious organizations such as Khotmil Qur’an in faculty, Majlis Sholawatan and some pesantren belonging to lecturers become a mediator of sharpening the personification of lecturers’ social competence. It is ability of putting themselves and religious activities as a new pattern of non-patronize learning, or mutual respect learning. The centers of religious activity can rediscover values or spirits composed of various religious traditions that can be strength and mutually reinforcing among people in the campus.
