Abstract
Public’s opinion about justice of punishment for rapist, influenced by many variables, for example gender and educational background. It is causing there is difference between expert of law and layperson, but in other side the role of sexism also determines judgment to justice of punishment for sexual offenders. The Purpose of the research is to exam individual judgment to justice of punishment for sexual offenders by considering gender, and educational background. The research involves 197 university students. It composes Islamic law student and psychology student. The result of the research indicates that no difference between Islam law majors students with psychology student in judgment to justice of punishment for sexual offenders. In other side the research also founds a difference between men and women in judgment to justice of punishment for sexual offenders. Women more feel injustice in judgment to punishment for sexual offenders.
