Abstract

This research explores educational programs of pesantren and examines the discourse of the perspective of the pesantren community concerning globalisation challenges. Therefore, the study discovered that pesantren took different approaches in response to the needs of their educational system. In conclusion, pesantren have been subject to changes in terms of its educational program, and leadership.
