Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability (ROA) on stock returns that are moderated by interest rates. The method in this research uses a quantitative approach. Research data is secondary data. The population in this research is a variety of industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2016-2018. The sample of this research was taken using purposive sampling technique which amounted to 6 companies. Data analysis uses MRA (Moderated Regression Analysis). The results of this study indicate that ROA has a significant positive effect on stock returns and interest rates are able to moderate the relationship of ROA with stock returns.
