Abstract

This presentation slide was given in order to complete the teaching module. The slide entitles "the organizational pattern of a passage. This provides an outline for the ideas to flow. the patterns are: listing, time-order, cause-effects and comparison. The module is a compilation of related materials for English 1 which focuses on reading and writing. It is taken from any related sources from books and online worksheets which are designed as a learning resource for the students of Islamic education department. The arrangement of the handout is based on step by step gradation of reading skill that should be possessed by the students. The students are expected to improve reading skills from the level of word study up to sentence study.
