Abstract

Background: Turnover happens in almost all aspects of organisations, including in medical aspect. Turnover of the hospital nurses has direct impacts to the service quality because nurses are the spearhead of the hospital services. Turnover could be predicted from the amount of turnover intention that is influenced by several factors i.e. quality work life and employee engagement. Objective: to prove the influence of quality work life to employee engagement and turnover intention of the hospital nurses. Method: The data is collected by using the questionnaires that is given to 35 nurses of Ananda Hospital. The data is analyzed by path analyses. Result: there is influence quality work life to employee engagement and employee engagement towards turnover intention. Conclucion: there is an effect of quality work life to turnover intention through employee engagement.
