Abstract
This article aims to examine the strategy of building a quality culture and climate for the Integrated Islamic School in Palangkaraya. By using qualitative research methods, the strategies to build a quality Islamic school culture and climate can be concluded as follows: 1) Socializing work programs; 2) Determining the budget and time schedule; 3) Divide tasks into all Human Resources (HR) of the School; 4) Develop work structures, job descriptions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); 5) Analyze capabilities and needs as well as their translation into Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); 6) To coordinate the implementation; 7) Ensuring work starts at the beginning of the year; 8) Realizing the program from a small scale to a large scale; 9) Conduct regular coordination meetings; 10) Conducting consultations with stakeholders; 11) Doing an effective strategy to be more focused; 12) Conduct a work review cycle; 13) Overcoming various obstacles by determining the priority scale; 14) Focusing on the realization of the school brand; 15) Instilling religious values; 16) Creating a solid Team Work; 17) Implementing a Quality Assurance System; 18) Evaluating the work program regularly; 19) Reflecting on the evaluation results to make continuous improvements. This study finds a strategic model to build a quality and competitive Integrated Islamic School culture and climate in the global era.
