Abstract

Environmental degradation has increasingly attracted the attention of public opinion; However, increasing concern for the environment has not been accompanied by an increase in consumption of green products and services. This study aims to build a conceptual framework for environmentally friendly behavior by using the consumer view of halal tourism. By using Intra Personal Value Environment which consists of environmental concern variables, environmental attitude, and non-environmental Intra personal value in the form of religious variables. This study offers a rare conceptual framework in the form of green behavioral consumers in halal tourism. This study has the potential for development for stakeholders in the halal tourism industry in particular and the tourism industry in general to understand the environmentally friendly behavior of consumers to generate tourism that has worsened due to the occurrence of Covid 19 by promoting environmentally friendly behavior for long-term sustainability
