Abstract

This article aims to discuss the importance of child-friendly education in families. The rise of violence in families in children makes it necessary for strengthening in the family to build child-friendly education and implement it in everyday life, especially in the current Covid-19 pandemic era. The era of the Covid-19 pandemic has a significant impact on the growth of various sectors of life, both from an economic, health, social, political perspective, and education is no exception. Based on government regulations that divert education from school to home, it turns out that there are many problems for children and families. Parents who initially did not pay attention to children's education, during the Covid-19 pandemic, are required to provide optimal care and education to their children. Providing child-friendly education from an early age on an ongoing basis can instill positive children's behavior in his life. So that a child-friendly generation will be born in the person of the child as well as breaking the chain of violence against children, because education with violence will have an impact on the phase of child development and the phase of life of children from adolescents and adults. Child-friendly education in the family can be done by: 1) Application of balanced communication between children and parents; 2) Application of anti-violence discipline; and 3) the implementation of positive character building in children.
