Abstract

ENGLISH:
This study focuses on the management of productive zakat in Rumah Zakat through the perspectives of maqasid al syariah Ibnu ‘Asyur. It aims at describing how to Rumah Zakat manages its funds in line with the maqasid al syariah. Employing qualitative research design, it collected the data through three stages: interviews, observation, and documentation. The data in this study consists of three parts, namely primary, secondary and tertiary data. They were analyzed using the theory of maqasid al syariah Ibnu ‘Asyur. The results shows that the practice of zakat distribution of wealth through Independent Smile program in a productive manner is in line with the maqasid al syariah. The spirit of maqasid al Syaria Ibnu ‘Asyur is on how the legal basis provides benefits for the whole mankind. Furthermore, the reason underlying the productive zakat management is as a mercy for the mustahiq specifically and muslims in general. The goal of becoming ‘amil zakat is in order to serve God, because position of trust, the managers are trying to accomplish their duties by innovating the productive zakat. These are in line with maqasid al syariah.

Penelitian ini mengangkat tentang pengelolaan zakat produktif di Rumah Zakat pespektif maqas}id al syariah Ibnu ‘Asyur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana Rumah Zakat dalam mengelola dana zakat apakah sudah sesuai dengan maqas}id al-syariah atau belum. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Cara pengumpulan data melalui tiga tahap yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data-data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga bagian yakni, data primer, skunder dan tertier. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan teori maqas}id al syariah Ibnu ‘Asyur.
