Abstract

Colleges and Islamic Boarding Schools (pesantren) are two educational institutions with great potential. Each has its advantages. Islamic boarding schools excel in fostering the character of faith and piety, while universities excel in developing science. Indonesia's future human resources, namely human beings who are faithful, devoted, knowledgeable and skilled, excellent educational institutions are needed. The integration of the advantages of higher education institutions and pesantren can answer these needs, especially with the support of foreign capital.
